This video is a very good example of my motto 'How you sit is how you work'. In this clinic you will also see that we often lose sight of functionality when we want to do everything according to the beautiful picture. Imke's horse shows that he can move much better under a rider who is functionally seated than under a rider who is so 'beautiful' that she can no longer move along comfortably. And as far as I'm concerned, your horse is your very best instructor in the search for that optimal, functional seat. I would like to mention that I am grateful to Imke from the bottom of my heart that she wanted to enter into this collaboration with me. I couldn't have wished for a better example to show that working on your seat, even at the top level, can still make a big difference. With a touch of humor, we were able to make a really nice statement together. The support of the audience, which spontaneously started applauding at the moments of improvement, made it extra special.
