'Paired with a smile' has 128 pages and consists of 40 columns supplemented with original colour photographs. In addition to the well-known columns published in 2007 and 2008 in the Paardekrant, this book also contains previously unpublished columns from 2009 and 2010. All topics are based on personal experiences from the equestrian world.
The columns are written with a dose of humor and (self-)mockery, so that the recognizable idiosyncrasies and remarkable stories from the horse world put a smile on the faces of the readers. Hence the title: Paired with a smile!
The columns are now a bit older, but that's why it's fun to read them now. You will notice what changes have taken place in everything that has to do with horses in a relatively short period of time.

More about the author Rose Dyson
From an early age, Roos Dyson knew that she wanted to work in horses, despite the fact that she had not been taught this at home. During and after the Equestrian course in Deurne, she worked at various companies, ranging from jumping to dressage stable and from riding school to stallion farming. She gained experience in the Netherlands as well as in Germany, America and Canada. She broke in many horses for many different owners, is active in dressage and show jumping, has worked in the office for an equine veterinarian and for many years she has been working as an independent rider and instructor. In addition, she has one big hobby: horses! Based on her experiences, she wrote this collection of columns, in which one is offered a humorous view of the horse world.
